WebDec 30, 2009 · 59 Posts. #7 · Dec 29, 2009. Hey Little, I had the same problem, messed up middle knuckle taking a beating from both. my Blackhawk (45c) and SRH 454 with full power loads. Shooting the 45 colt in the redhawk makes even hot loads feel more like a 38, but couldn't handle 454s. I put hogue tamers on both guns, problem solved.
