WebJun 23, 2014 · It has a 350 SBC crate motor in it, and none of the "standard" SBC starters are fitting. The block # is M01109VP with no partial VIN stamped. From what I can tell it's a 250HP Mexican GM Crate. No idea what the 9VP suffix code is/means. The starter that came off of it looks like a high torque, gear reduction starter. WebFlywheels with two different diameters are used on Chevrolet Small-Block, Big-Block, and 90° V-6 engines. Large flywheels are 14" in diameter and have 168 teeth on the starter ring gear. Small-diameter flywheels are 12.750" in diameter, with 153 teeth on the ring gear. This difference in flywheel diameters requires two distinct starter housings.
