Based on this, it sounds like an issue with the app itself. You're not having to reset anything on SYNC or the phone, e.g. turning Bluetooth on and off, so that points to the app as well. In my Activity tab I could find some of the recent stations I listened to and by clicking on them they were brought back to my Stations list.
