Web27 de abr. de 2009 · If you put the Toaster in the neck you'll get a nice clear vintage sound in that position and a fair approximation of it in the middle position, but keep your more powerful overdriven bridge pickup tone. You can also put the vintage cap on the bridge High-Gain as iiipopes suggested, which will get it closer to the sound of a Toaster. Web17 de jul. de 2024 · Toasters are great, if you can manage an unpotted pickup. You can call Lollar about the Broilers and see if they have a few still or the parts needed to make them. Broilers were removed from Lollar's site earlier this year. If you need a potted pickup, try this route first. I would expect a "hot rodded vintage" type of sound.

They are direct drop-in replacements for the Hi-Gains or toasters and they sound fantastic!
